Natasha
Jain was born and raised in a family that embraces the Indian as well
as Dominican cultures. She received her bachelor’s degree in illustration
at the Massachusetts College of Art (2005). Jain now works as a freelance
illustrator and has designed and installed murals for the New England
Medical Center’s Floating Hospital in Boston (2002) and for the
Boys & Girls Club of Lowell, MA. (2004). She is also a Graphic Illustrator
for www.Deezshirts.com , a T-shirt design company with an urban yet
revolutionary edge. Jain is a featured artist for Half Price Books 2004
calendar and has illustrated numerous short stories for children, in
Kahani magazine(2004-2005). She encorporates diversity and cultural
awareness in her work while captivating interest and a powerful punch
through her bold use of color. Her other interests include editorial
